Virology & COVID-19 Research

This program covers fundamental and advanced concepts of virology, including viral structure, replication, classification, and host–virus interactions. Special emphasis is placed on SARS-CoV-2, COVID-19 diagnostics, vaccines, antiviral strategies, and global research efforts. Students learn molecular diagnostic techniques, immune responses to viral infections, and biosafety practices. The course also explores emerging viral diseases, epidemiology, and public health perspectives, preparing students for research, diagnostics, and healthcare roles.
